Eagala stands for Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association is client-centered and solution-orientated.
There is no riding because the client interacts with the horses on the same level giving the horses an equal role in treatment. Eagala uses a mental health professional and an equine specialist to complete the team for an efficient method of experiential therapeutic attention and support.
Eagala is uniquely designed to use horse herd dynamics as a tool for human emotional needs. An environment can impact how we process things and learn to make changes. The Eagala model is a distinctive approach for an environment with horses to permit development of a healing process. The concern for others is a developmental concept related to evolution.
